We are pleased to share with you the latest updates to the SmartCP Logistics product! In this article, we will tell you about the new improvements.
Driver Application
We have improved the SmartDriver driver application, and it now supports the following features:
- Communication with the driver during transport orders:
- Order Chat. Each order has its own internal chat for communication with the driver.
- Status Updates. The driver can send status updates as the order progresses (started trip, arrived, completed, etc.). While performing a task, the driver must take a photo of the documents; otherwise, the task cannot be completed.
- Photo Upload. The driver can send photos that will be automatically attached to the order, and you only need to approve them.
- Notifications. The user who added the order to the system will receive notifications about new messages, statuses, and photos from the driver.
- Handover Acts. You create an act template, and the driver fills it out and takes real-time photos (without the ability to upload old photos) for each item.
Bank Payments Import
In the [Finances] module, under the Invoices tab, a new Import Payments button has been added above the invoice list.
Here, you can quickly and easily mark the payment status of your invoices based on your bank's payment history.
How to do it:
From your bank, simply export a list of transactions in CSV or XLSX format and upload them here, our system will automatically read the file and display the result, all you have to do is confirm or make manual adjustments if necessary.
Other Updates
[Orders] Module
- With the implementation of driver chat, a new Chat tab has been added to the order view window, allowing system users to communicate with the driver.
- Improved address search logic for route planning.
[Drivers] Module
- Added a SmartDriver tab for managing driver app activation
[Fleet] Module
- Added the ability to change the currency in maintenance and repair reports
- Added the ability to change the currency in monthly costs
[Trailers] Module
- Added the ability to change the currency in repair reports
- Added the ability to change the currency in monthly costs
[Costs] Module
- Added a Date parameter to expense report data
[Profitability] Module
- Minor interface updates
- The vehicle report section has been renamed to Transport, with plans for additional sections in the future
- Added tracking of maintenance and repair costs, also displaying these costs under vehicle reports
- Added tracking of costs from the [Costs] module and displaying them under the Transport section in a separate Other Costs section
- In the monthly report, a general summary (Income, Costs, Profit) has been added at the top
"Forwarding" Department (development)
We are actively developing our system and expanding its capabilities. In response to requests from our clients working not only in transportation but also in freight forwarding, we are developing specialized functionality for efficient expedition management. As a result, on the main page, you can now see the division of departments into Transport and Forwarding. Additionally, the [Finances] and [Profitability] modules have been moved from the transport department to the My Company section.
