We continue improving SmartCP Logistics to make daily transport planning easier and more flexible. In this update, we are introducing a new option for handling additional loads within transport orders.
We have introduced a new feature for transport orders: Additional Loads. This functionality allows you to manage several related transport orders within one planned trip.
This feature is especially useful when a vehicle is only partially loaded and still has free space available. If another order has a similar route, it can now be added as an additional load to the same trip. This helps companies use vehicle capacity more efficiently and complete multiple customer orders within a single route.
With this update, you can now:
- Create a main transport order and add one or more additional loads to it.
- Assign each task to the correct order, so loading and unloading points remain clearly connected to the right customer.
- Use additional loads for orders from different customers or from the same customer.
- Generate separate order numbers for each additional load, because every additional load is still treated as its own transport order.
- View all tasks from the full order set together, while still being able to check tasks belonging only to a selected order.
- Send task statuses, files, and updates from the SmartDriver app to the correct related order.
- Move the whole order set between vehicles while keeping important planning data synchronized.
- Calculate route planning statistics using the total amount from the main order and all additional loads.
For drivers, orders with additional loads are displayed as one combined trip with all related tasks. This keeps the workflow simple in the SmartDriver app, while the system still assigns all information correctly to the proper transport order in the background.
We believe this improvement will help you plan routes more flexibly, reduce unused vehicle space, and improve profitability by combining compatible orders into one trip.
The new Additional Loads feature is now available in transport orders.
